Billing, Cancellations & Refunds

Payment processor

Premium payments are processed through Stripe.

Stripe may collect and process payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

MunchAlong does not store your full card number.

Prices and currency

The current package price and billing duration appear before checkout.

Prices are set in US dollars.

MunchAlong may display an estimated local-currency amount for convenience.

The actual charge is processed in the currency shown by Stripe at checkout.

Your bank or payment provider may apply exchange-rate differences or fees.

Taxes

Applicable taxes may be added or included depending on your location and Stripe configuration.

You remain responsible for taxes or charges imposed by your bank, card provider or local authority where applicable.

Automatic renewal

Premium is a recurring subscription.

By completing checkout, you authorise the subscription to renew automatically at the end of each paid period until future renewal is cancelled.

The renewal price, billing duration and package are shown during checkout.

Cancelling future renewal

You may cancel future renewal through the available MunchAlong subscription controls or Stripe Customer Portal.

Cancellation means:

• You will not be charged for the next billing period.
• Your current paid period ordinarily remains active until its stated end date.
• Cancellation does not delete your MunchAlong account.
• Cancellation does not cancel existing Munch commitments.

Cancel before the renewal is processed if you do not want the next charge.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable after they have been successfully processed, except where:

• A refund is required by applicable law.
• MunchAlong approves a refund in its sole discretion.
• A duplicate or clear technical billing error is confirmed.

MunchAlong does not provide prorated refunds merely because:

• You stop using Premium.
• You cancel before the end of the paid period.
• You do not host a Munch.
• You do not use all available Premium benefits.
• Your account is restricted because of your conduct.

Nothing in this policy removes a refund right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Payment failure

If a payment fails:

• Stripe may retry the payment.
• Your subscription may become past due.
• Premium may remain active until the current entitlement period ends.
• Premium may end if payment is not completed.
• You may update your payment method through Stripe where available.

Renewal cancellation

When future renewal is cancelled, Premium normally remains active until the paid-period end date.

After that date, the account returns to the applicable free level unless another entitlement applies.

Premium expiry

When Premium expires:

• Your account remains available.
• Joining remains subject to the current platform rules.
• Hosting becomes subject to the free-account hosting rules.
• Existing Munch commitments remain subject to their normal terms.

Complimentary premium

MunchAlong may grant complimentary Premium.

Complimentary Premium:

• Does not require a Stripe payment.
• May have an expiry date.
• May be changed or withdrawn according to the terms communicated when granted.
• Has no cash value.
• Is not refundable or transferable.

Lifetime premium

MunchAlong may grant Lifetime Premium to selected users.

Lifetime Premium:

• Is not a lifetime guarantee that MunchAlong itself will operate forever.
• Applies while the relevant account and Premium programme remain available.
• May be withdrawn in cases of fraud, abuse, serious rule violations or account termination.
• Is not transferable.
• Has no cash redemption value.

Package changes

MunchAlong may change future Premium packages, benefits or prices.

A price change will not ordinarily alter a paid period already purchased.

Where required, notice will be provided before a renewal at a changed price.

Account suspension or ban

Suspension or banning for breach of the Terms or Community Rules does not automatically create a refund right.
